The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. This role is perfect for someone looking to work school hours and be part of a fast-growing company. You will have the opportunity to shape our financial processes, work directly with senior leadership, and contribute to our strategic direction. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:

<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts and receivable, payroll and VAT returns.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Manage working capital and treasury</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency and controls around spend.</li>
</ul>
About You:
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience in a similar financial role, preferably in a scale-up or SME environment.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Enthusiastic about being part of a growing, innovative company.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience of working with Xero or other accounting systems, proficiency with Excel</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Accounting qualification preferable</li>
